Included

17 Therefore, I say this and testify in the Lord: You should no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thoughts. 18 They are darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them and because[a] of the hardness of their hearts. (Ephesians 4:17-18 CSB)

Once we came to a loving acceptance of Christ salvation we were no longer excluded from the life of God.

Being included also means that our minds were opened to the light of scriptural teachings. We began to see the words in the Bible were something more than nice stories. They had weight and import, they helped us see how to live.

Thus, we should no longer walk in a “darkness of understanding”, no longer ignorant of both the wonder of God’s grace and the fulfilling of His plan in our life.

That can feel overwhelming at times, but know that God is with us throughout every endeavor. With our inclusion we have been given insight others can not clearly understand until they open their lives to Christ.
