27 So God created man
in his own image;
he created him in the image of God;
he created them male and female. (Genesis 1:27 CSB)

We were created in God’s image, each of us. No matter where you were born, what you look like, who your parents were, how easy or hard your life has been or is.

WE were created in His image.

Some may argue that this scripture means Adam and Eve, and yes it does. And we are their descendants. Thus, we too have that God gene.

Furthermore, we should be working daily to embrace this and to better reflect Christ within us. We have no excuse not to, other than belligerence against God.

There I said it.

And I too am guilty of such belligerence.

But we must strive mightily because we were created in His image. One day we will see what we were created to be and my greatest fear when I see that image of what I could have been is how short I fell.

But I am human, we are human. Ours is to strive toward the goal, ever forward.
