4 In return for my love they accuse me,
but I continue to pray. (Psalm 109:4 CSB)

At times it is difficult to continue to pray for those who wish ill for us. Maybe even doing so a single time is hard. But when we continue to pray for even those who wish us ill, the Spirit is working.

We may not see nor feel the working of the Spirit but He is continually active in our lives. He will continue to work for us, in us and through us even when it seems all is lost.

Thus, we much continue in diligence to simply pray and wait on God.

This is rarely easy and we must guard against becoming discouraged. If we allow discouragement to grow we can become disallusioned and this can lead to dispare. None of the “D’s” are good. We have to look for the “E’s” at this time; Encouraged, Enabled and Empowerd.

The key is to simply continue.
