Advertisements assail us daily to buy the newest or improved items. All of which immediately begin to age and become old and obsolete as soon as they are in our possession.

However, there is one thing that we can gain that means that the old is passed away and the new is ever before it. When we come to Christ all things are made new, what or who we were has passed away and we are a new creature.
