Bitterness

31 Let all bitterness, anger and wrath, shouting and slander be removed from you, along with all malice. 32 And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you[a] in Christ. (Ephesians 4:31-32 CSB)

How often do we sit and stew in our own bitterness? An perceived slight causes us to dig deeply the hole of our own strife while others, seemly, go on with life without a care.

Then the malice turns to something more negative and we are now the ones sewing bitterness.

We were called for something more. We were called to forgive, as we have been forgiven, and live above it.
