We may have to endure persecution and disfavor with the world before it is all said and done. In fact, some of you may be facing it right now in lessor or greater ways.

However, we can be assured that if we are suffering for our faith that there is a greater reward for us in eternity.

But that may be a hard pill to swallow today.

We want to think that when we come to faith everything will just magically work out. Faith is not magic. Faith is walking with our head up high when things are at their worst and when the world seems pitted against us.

Yes, God wants the best for us. However, the world may be fully against us because the enemy has such a hold on this world.

Faith, however, is better because this time passes away lie a vapor in the vastness of eternity.
