Beginning and End

6 Then he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will freely give to the thirsty from the spring of the water of life. (Revelations 21:6 CSB)

Begin with the end in mind. This is a core tenant that we should employ for, really, just about anything in life. However, how often do we really do this? Observation of both personal and business dealings would say not very often.

There is a dichotomy in life where we must learn to live in the moment but understand the impact of the moment on the future. Without one or the other life becomes very difficult either right now or down the road.

It is much like riding a motorcycle. You must be in the moment and aware of everything around you at all times. However, you too must be watchful and preparing for the road ahead.

The beauty of our faith is that Christ is the beginning and the end. The Alpha and Omega. In Him we can rely upon both the moment and the future without fear. We must live each moment in Him.
