61 …He has sent me to heal[a] the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives
and freedom to the prisoners; (Isaiah 61:1b)

Do you often feel you are being held captive? Feel broken-hearted and unable to claim the liberty of the Christian life?

These struggles are all to common.

We often end up in a prison of our own making. Whether that be from ongoing willful sin or an unrepentant heart. Or maybe it is just doubt in your self and in God.

Whatever the reason, this is not the life we were meant to lead nor portray.

Christ came to heal the broken-hearted and to free us from that which would hold us back in the Christian life.

We do not have to allow the chains of a past life hold us from a future of freedom.
