18 We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at[a] the glory of the Lord and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:18 CSB)
Transformation is something that we all strive for on various levels. We desire to transform our bodies into something we believe looks and functions better through exercise and diet. We study to transform our minds into something that others desire to pay us well to utilize and to serve us well in life. We transform our monitary gains into material things we own like our homes, our vehicles, our clothes.
Life is just one long list of transformations.
But how often do we consider how we are transforming our lives into the likeness of Christ? Where we can look in the mirror and the image we see there, from a spiritual standpoint, is one that reflects Christ in our lives.
Transformation in life should be more about this than any of the other things. The other things should take on this image as we utilize every other aspect of transformation to mirror Christ in our lives.
