20 For everyone who does evil hates the light and avoids it,[a] so that his deeds may not be exposed. 21 But anyone who lives by[b] the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be shown to be accomplished by God.” (John 3:20-21 CSB)
Evil no longer hides. The darkness is masquerading as the light and everything that was once considered truth is shouted down as false.
We live in an up-side-down time.
Never has God’s light been more needed to be shown on each and every situation. Each conversation tempered with light and salt. We, as Christians, need to have a voice, but one of reconciliation.
This does not mean that we need to have no backbone but that we need to be flexible while sticking to our convictions.
In an up-side-down time discernment and the guidance of the Spirit is needed more than ever.
