18 Open my eyes so that I may contemplate
wondrous things from your instruction. (Psalm 119:18 CSB)

Too often we walk through this world blindly. We either remain in the darkness we have created or we choose to keep our eyes firmly shut against good teaching.

Whatever our excuse, we are willfully making a choice.

If we would but open our eyes to the words of the scripture and the inner voice of the Spirit. Then we would recognize how we have been turning a blind eye to not only our own wilfull sin, but to the broken world around us.

Then we can help be our brothers keeper.
