18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you. (John 14:18 CSB)

This world can feel like a very lonely place at times. When we go through difficult times and nothing seems to be going right we may feel like orphans.

But we are not alone. You are not alone. You have the Spirit within who is there to guide, comfort and teach. Even if you grew up as an orphan, once you received Christ the Spirt came to live within. You immediately became a son or daughter of our Father.

My parents are now both gone and there are times when I really miss their guidance. But I know I have only to pick up my bible to gain even greater guidance.

We are not orphans in this world.
