For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us . . .  (1 Thessalonians 5:9-10)

Our lot in life may look very different from one another. However, no matter what our lot is, we were not appointed to wrath. God sent Jesus to die for our sins and has now given us a new life to lead. Once we have obtained salvation we are to tread a new path, go a new direction. One that leads to life and not to death.

These words can be lost on some people. They do not understand Christ death and reserection. They only know what is in front of them. It is to these that we must take on Christ mantle and show them the love they may have never known.

It is for this, during our time on this earth, we were appointed a new path.
