17 “For I will create a new heaven and a new earth;
the past events will not be remembered or come to mind. (Isaiah 65:17 CSB)

This world is passing away. There will be a new heaven and a new earth that we may look forward to. God will create everything new and all of this world’s sadness and discouragement will be gone with it.

We can look forward to a time when we will be at home with Christ.

Christians should be looking forward to this but for many others it is a fearful time. A time when we will all be judged and our acts upon this earth will be laid bare. Where we will answer for our lives.

Luckily, we have Christ atonement to cover our sinful nature.
