19 Then they asked him, “Where is your Father?”

“You know neither me nor my Father,” Jesus answered. “If you knew me, you would also know my Father.” (John 8:19 CSB)

I grew up in a very small town in Texas. My father worked at the local hospital and my mother at the Sherrif’s office. I could get away with nothing!

But too, I was known by them. Others in that small Texas town knew me because they knew my parents. My Father especially was well known because many people saw him when needing lab work at the hospitle. But too, they knew him through our local church where he was a deacon.

We may not necessarily be known by our biological parents but we can surely be known by our Heavenly Father. And through that knowledge we can be known by Christ.

Our acts are constantly visible, more than we ever know. By them we will be known.
