2 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins 2 in which you previously lived according to the ways of this world, according to the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit now working in the disobedient. (Ephesians 2:1-2 CSB)

Many people do not want to believe in anything that might be beyond their senses. Thus, the idea of “ruler of the power of the air” is a foreign an almost alien concept. I have heard it called Spiritual Woo-Woo.

It is easier to just believe in what we see and hear. Maybe we are too quick to believe what we hear based on all of the social media and fake news. We are fed so much drivel on our “smart devices” that they are making us dumb to our actual senses.

We must be congnizant of our other senses and in the Spirits discernment. We must take our Spiritual Woo-Woo and allow it to guide us away from the things that would work a spirit of disobedience as scripture warns.

We must use this to guard against that which we cannot see.

This same Spirit can guide us in life as well, helping us to make good decisions and directing us down the path God has for us.
