When everything is going well it is easy to get lulled into the idea that it is of our doing. That we were the orchestrator of our current state. I mean, I did the work, I made the money, I had the relationships, I, I, I.

But none of this is possible in my strength. No. Not unless the Spirit strives within me do these things happen. I am allowed this grace, I did not create it.

And I will never be sufficient on my own whether the times are good and or when they are bad. I am held up by the Lord’s right hand. He sees me through the good times and the bad.

I am allowed this grace.
