7 All the people saw this and began to mutter, “He has gone to be the guest of a sinner.” (Luke 19:7 NIV)

Doctors work in hospitals with the sick. Lawyers practice in courthouses where people are dealing with legal matters. It would not do us much good for the doctors to show up at the courthouses, or the lawyers to show up at the hospitals.

In the same way, if we keep ourselves to thoses who already know the way, then we are not much good to the lost in life.
