There are periods we go through where we may feel like we labor for nothing. We are surviving, just getting by.

In recent years it has seemed ever so as it seems no matter how much harder we work, we are not getting ahead. Some of this is the current socioeconomic state we are living in. Everything is going up except our salaries. Technology is not fulfilling its original plan to make life easier, it is actually making it harder. Yet, we still have it better than most.

The key in times like this is to hold closely to the “Word of Life”, which is scripture. Clinging to the promises God gave us and waiting on His timing.

We do not labor for nothing when we labor for God.
