9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.”
Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me. (2 Corinthians 12:9 CSB)
I have written about this passage before, so forgive my indulgence of a scripture I speak back to myself frequently.
I have come to realize that through all things, good and ill, that this scripture speaks. That God’s grace is sufficient and that his power is perfected in my weakness. And oh how that power is perfected on a daily basis.
Weakness is rarely looked upon favoribly. I must admit to being one who views his own weakness harshly. One who seeks to be strong in every area of my life but in doing so simply displays my weakness even more.
Thus, I daily seek to see God’s power perfected in my life through my weakness. Even the weakness of viewing myself as weak. I seek His strength in every array of my life.
