4 since the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds. We demolish arguments (2 Corinthians 10:4 CSB)
Many arguments are built up on such flimsy topics, opinions or misconceptions. So much so it seems that people sometimes simply argue for the sake of argument.
These things are rarely productive and simply serve to distract us from the true issue at hand, whether that be in the faith life or in business.
Few seek to gain true understand, seek to find the truth of a thing. No, it is far easier to argue vague topics with conjecture and opinion. We have done this so much that the truth becomes more and more muddied.
This is because the enemy wages his war in the vague and gray places. He does not like the strength of facts. Opinion is far easier to manipulate and develop strongholds that make us question.
But with scripture and the Spirit we can demolish these strongholds and arguments.
