14 Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart

Our world is not one where waiting is valued. We push and hurry and rarely ever stop to “smell the roses”, much less await any divine guidance.

Everything in our society pushes us toward “more, faster, better!”

Yet, that is not how we are built. Our lives have a pace and by never waiting we can miss out on the blessings all around us.
