Where are you spending most of your time? Your treasure? Your talents?

Where we invest ourselves, typically, is where our heart resides. We may say, “well that’s with my family,” and there is huge value there. We minister to our families to be sure.

But we are called beyond our families and they will not be there forever. The truth is many of us worship at the feet of the idol of work. We spend more of our time and talents there than anywhere else. But jobs come and jobs go. While we must be diligent in our work, we are called to something more.
