Confidence is something that people think they either have or don’t.

Confidence is something we gain. Not something that we are inherently born with. Yes, type A people may seem to be possessed with it, but I have found that a deep fear is typically behind much of their bravado.

No, I have met far more quiet and humble people with an unshakable underlying confidence. Typically born of deep life experience and a strong faith. Possessing something far beyond mere confidence. Possessing understanding, wisdom and strength.
