This world can be a hard, hard place. I have written about this many times. I encounter so many people who are in pain and struggling. The world has no place for them. They do not enjoy life they survive it. They get by.

Sadly, the volume of people I meet who are “getting by” seems to be growing at an exponential rate. They live lives of watching others live. They do not know how or cannot look beyond their current circumstances.

Consider for a moment that this world is not where you are meant to be. That the place your soul longs for is not some splendid place on earth but one in heaven. We are not of this earth, we are but travelers along its road. Our destination overcomes the difficulties of the journey. We are set apart.
