We tend to look upon ourselves as highly independent. Independence is a badge of honor and one we wear proudly.

Independence can be a good thing or it can lead to loneliness. We are not alone here. There are so many others who can benefit from us being together with them. So many who we can benefit from being around.

When independence leads us to doing life alone it can increase our difficulties and struggles.

A rope of three strands is not easily broken.

We are one; in and through all.
