10 Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ (Isaiah 41:10)

Face it, we are easily distracted. Our phones alone hold a host of distractions on a moment by moment basis. The world throws everything it has at us to keep us distracted. At work we are overwhelmed with the imminent to the exclusion of the important.

You see too, if we are distracted we will not do what God wants us doing.

We will spend our days in busy work. We will not progress as diciples and we will not bear the fruit of the Spirit.

In short, we will be unproductive in the most important things.
