I just had a birthday. For that birthday I spent a few days going through some check up’s to make sure that everything within was functioning properly.

I have also been thinking about how I am functioning spiritually.

I needed as much of a spiritual as a medical checkup.

…and I found things I did not like. Things that I had been letting slip, things I needed to address.

When we come to Christ we are a new creation, but it is easy to let the world slip in and weaken what has been made new.

We need spiritual checkups too.
