7 Some take pride in chariots, and others in horses,

Is there something you have you take pride in. As a car and bike guy I have always taken pride in what I drove or rode. Some people take pride in their appearance. Others in their financial or social status.

There is nothing wrong with being proud. I am very proud of the people my kids grew up to be. I am proud of my wife and all she does as a teacher. But when we become prideful in who we are or what we have, we lose sight of what we truly have  to take pride in…Christ, our redeemer.

It is when we shift from knowing that all we might take pride in on this earth comes from God that we realize where our pride should lie.
