What is your life built upon? Your wealth? Your reputation? Your family? Your friends?

Christ?

We can have all the trappings that wealth, reputation, family and many friends bring us. However, without a solid foundation for our lives these things all fade away.

When our foundations are moored in Christ, all of the trappings are icing on the cake of our lives. Nothing shakes us when the wealth is gone, the reputation fails, the family is in turmoil and the friends are gone.

When Christ is that foundation, no matter what happens to the house we can stand upon our firm foundation.
