27 For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him?
His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back? (Isaiah 14:27 NIV)

Have you ever had something planned out and then something happened and everything fell apart. Remember how frustrating that was. You are all geared up to go some where, get something done and … boom … stuff happens.

Well there is one person who’s purposes cannot be frustrated, cannot be thwarted, will not be changed.

God is the same today, tomorrow and forever. His plans cannot be thwarted. What he wills happens. Maybe not in the way we would like them to happen, but in the way he purposed them to happen.

Thus too his promises will ever be the same.
