A Better Week

7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 CSB)

This has been a rough week. One where finding any form of peace has been very difficult. Add to that a lack of sleep and you have a recipe for mental and physical exhaustion that goes deep.

This morning is the first I have had where I could really stop, take a moment and try to recover. When we have weeks like this it is imperative that we take a moment to get with God and reflect. To ask ourselves how much we tried to do in our own power and how much we called on God for.

I have to admit, while I did seek His help, I did not do it enough. Looking back I wish I know had I stayed in closer contact my week, even though hectic, would have been better.
