27 After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector named Levi sitting at the tax office, and he said to him, “Follow me.” 28 So, leaving everything behind, he got up and began to follow him. (Luke 5:27-28 CSB)
The world pushes us to be leaders, however, many are happy to follow. They have no desire to lead. They are good with the role of follower and like the work over the idea of leading others.
God asked us to put everything else aside and follow him as well. A natural leader may balk at this, but in our ability to follow God uses our ability to lead. Even with those who simply prefer to follow we are asked to lead…
…to lead others to Christ. Even if this is only through how we live our lives.
