17 Jesus responded, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah,[a] because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven. (Matthew 16:17 CSB)

At this time, Jesus was asking the disciples who people thought he was and then who they thought he was. Simon (Peter) answered based not only on what he had witnessed but upon what the Father had revealed.

There may be moments where we question many things about faith, but rest assured that we never have to question who Jesus was, what he came for or why.

The moment we believed it was revealed to us all these things and scripture continues to reveal more. This does not happen with human understanding but is a revelation based upon faith.
