9 The Lord does not delay his promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9 CSB)

I am not patient, but I am very grateful that God is patient with me. That he wants the best for me even though I tend to want only what I want and He knows that the best for me is not necessarily what I want.

God’s promises are immediate, and his patience is great. We may not always feel this but it is ever so.

Should we not more so show patience for others as He does for us?
