Who Do You Work For?

23 Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people, 24 knowing that you will receive the reward of an inheritance from the Lord. You serve the Lord Christ. (Colossians 3:23-34 CSB)

Who do you work for? Yourself? Family? Boss? Company?

All of these, right? Of course. We all have earthly responsibilities that must be taken into count. However, when we work specifically toward doing things for someone or something on earth we are shooting short fo the mark.

It is only when we work for these people and places, by directly we are doing for Christ that things make sense. Otherwise we need to realize that we are something that is passing away. Something that will one day not be here any longer.

But when we fulfill all these responsibilities as if we are doing so for Christ that they all take on more meaning. They all become a sacrifice to Christ.
