25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. (Ephesians 4:25-27)
Footholds are good if you are trying to climb up a surface that affords little else to assist in the effort. However, footholds in our lives are not so good and something that our enemy works diligently to keep in place.
So, what specifically can be a foothold in our lives that the enemy extorts?
Our time, our passions, our attitudes, our desires; really anything that can separate us from God or one another and lead us astray.
