5 Do not bow in worship to them, and do not serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the fathers’ iniquity, to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, 6 but showing faithful love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commands. (Exodus 20:5-6 CSB)

It is easy to forget with God’s loving core nature that he too is a jealous God. He expects us to keep our focus upon Him at all times.

We are not to allow the many idols (money, work, fun, leisure…) around us to take our eyes off of Him.

Take a look at where you spend the majority of your mental and physical time, were you spend your money. This will tell you what is most important in your life.
