2 You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.

Sound doctrine is not just relegated to scriptural matters. Having a good doctrine, be it for our health, our work ethic, our trustworthiness or any other facet of life is quite important.

Unfortunately, today, these sound doctrines are often shouted down by the unsound and the just plain wrong.

Scripture provides a sounding board for many of life’s sound doctrines.
