Praise

2 Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth;
an outsider, and not your own lips. (Proverbs 27:2 NIV)

It is great to hear kind words of praise from others. When someone boast of us or our skills it can bring feelings of confidence or embarrassment, depending upon how we take compliments.

If in confidence we should be humble in our acceptance of praise.

If embarrassed we should be greatful in our acceptance of praise.

In whatever way we accept a compliment it should always be remembered where the real reason for the praise comes from. Our God who looks loving upon each of us.
