21 He changes times and seasons;
he deposes kings and raises up others.
He gives wisdom to the wise

Everything moves in time to God’s plan. We may not see nor realize that he is working in world events, or even in our lives. This is especially true when we see or experience something negative and wonder at how God could be working through the situation.

But we can be assured He is. God is continually at work around us and within the world. He is not an absent God. He is present in every moment of our lives.
