28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30 NIV)

To some, taking a yoke seems more burdensome. Yet, in this scripture what Christ is saying is that by taking His yoke he will bear our burdens with us. Effectively taking load off not putting load on.

By being yoked to Christ we are identified with Him and we always have somewhere to turn, someone to share, in the burdens of life.
