20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. (Colossians 1:20 NIV)

We could not make peace with God on our own. There had to be a sacrifice and Christ paid that price for us once and for all.

In our everyday world we too should make peace with those around us so that they recognize who made peace for us to begin with.

While conflict will come, we can be the positive force in a negative storm.
