15 The simple believe anything,
but the prudent give thought to their steps.
16 The wise fear the Lord and shun evil,
but a fool is hotheaded and yet feels secure. (Proverbs 14:15-16 NIV)

When we give thought to our steps we look forward and make prudent decisions around or life, our family, our finances.

If we run headlong with no planning we cannot hope to handle what life throws at us. We cannot feel secure if we have not planned for our security.

Prudence and planning allow for the rainy days which come to us all.
