3 In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly. (Psalm 5:3 NIV)

Each day we may start off scrambling around to get ourselves in order and neglect to get our mind and spirit in order. If we do not take a moment first thing to set our minds and spirits upon the right path the day can overtake us easily.

Better to begin with scripture and prayer, laying our request at the Lord’s feet and waiting expectantly.

In this way we begin our day allowing God to lead.
