15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.[a] And by him we cry, “Abba,[b] Father.” (Romans 8:15 NIV)
Living in fear is an insidious thing. It can creep into our lives in a myriad of ways and take over. We find ourselves living as slaves to our fears and to our basal natures.
We were made to live above that. To cry out “Abba, Father” when the world becomes too much for us. To allow the Father to carry us when we do not have the strength to go forward on our own.
The Spirit within speaks for us with groanings of the things we do not even know how to voice.
Thank you, Abba, Father.
