⁶ the Lord regretted that he had made man on the earth, and he was deeply grieved. (Genesis 6:6 CSB)

This was at a time when man lived how he wanted with no regard to God, and I believe we are there yet again. But this time we have no excuse because God sent his only begotten son as a sacrifice for our sins. So if man is turning away from God today, he is turning always from God’s saving grace.

And people do it every day. They consciously decide to not believe in God or the fact that Christ came and died for their sins. They have decided that nothing exist beyond this life. These are not necessarily bad people, they are just misguided. And many of them would say the same of me, and my belief, possibly. But as I have noted before, if I am wrong I have lost nothing. But if they are wrong they have lost everything.

Why would mankind hazard this? Because mankind is right in his own eyes and can be told nothing that differs from his own mindset. In an age when man is question biology and the absolute truth of what bathroom door they have to go through, are we not close to the same state of our scripture? How long with God suffer mankind this time?

Luckily for those who have not seen the light of God’s truth, He is long-suffering.
