But do we?

6 They will proclaim the power of your awe-inspiring acts,
and I will declare your greatness.[a]
They will give a testimony of your great goodness
and will joyfully sing of your righteousness. (Psalm 145:6-7 CSB)

But do we?

Do we proclaim Gods power and awe-inspiring acts? Do we declare His greatness, goodness or righteousness?

Yes, I am challenging you today to really consider how you speak about God to others. Or do you at all?

We should be joyfully singing of His righteousness to the hills. But far too often we meekly sit back and just want to keep our God to ourselves. We are fully happy to be a child of God, but less likely to be speaker of God’s Word or His deeds in our lives.

Why is this?

Not everyone is comfortable doing this. But how can we keep such Good News to our selves? How can we read in scripture all of God’s promises and live in a life filled with His deeds and not be bursting to tell others?

Maybe you don’t want to rock the boat, but that ship sailed when Christ gave His life for our salvation. He was the ultimate boat rocker and we should be as well. Society and our enemy wants to shout us down, but we must learn to shout louder even if it is in a very small whisper.

We must examine our convictions and be ready to stand upon them daily.
