16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. (Romans 8:16-17 NIV)

To be a heir is to inherit something of whoever we are a heir to. Sometime this can be wisdom and others it can be wealth or things. For those who may have not had the best home life we may inherit some level of pain.

When we come to Christ we inherit so much more, as we becomes heirs to heaven with Christ. Considered children of the most height.

No matter what we migh inherit on this earth, the treasure of heaven makes it all pale in comparison. We have become one with the One who is all.
