22 After removing Saul, he made David their king. God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.’ (Acts 13:22 NIV)

”A man after my own heart.” Would that my life could be summed up so aptly when speaking of how it has been lived for God.

However, we (I) often let our personal desires drive our lives as opposed to following God’s plan. Yes, David was not perfect. He too failed, but he ever looked upward and accepted his human limitations.

God knows our limitations and accepts us anyhow.
